I just saw on Yahoo! news of PMHS students assaulting minorities in Patchogue and Medford and I have to say that i'm disgusted by it.  What are the teachers in the school doing to promote diversity instead of hate?

Im am writing back to apoligive to everybody on the commitee ,I guess i do deserve all the comments that have been made,my intentions were not to hurt or insult anybody, After reading it the next day  i realized what a terrible thing i did.I let a few negative thoughts get the best of,me.So let me again apoligize to the enire class.I can only hope yuo will all forgive me someday

Congrats to the reunion committee for a wonderful night; it really was a lot of fun! I have to say, after reading the message from do you really care, I giggled. Yes, the faces in the pictures are the same but those are the people that really participated the highschool functions and all that school was. Take it from someone that chose the parking lot and blacktop instead and is not in all of the pictures.

To the reunion commitee, THANK YOU so much for all of your hard work!  Excellent choices on the CD- I've been rockin out to it! The event was a blast and an absolute highlight of my summer! Just fabulous to connect with everyone again...it felt like no time had passed at all.  I heard that there is an annual reunion in Patchogue every year...at the Oarr House? Maybe someone could send out more info on that!  Would love to get together sooner than 10 years!  Thanks everybody! 
PS. Just ditch all of the negative comments...we had way too much fun to give it any thought at all.

To Jeannine, Pam, Theresa, Lisa, Shauna, Tami and Chrissy I think you are all wonderful for giving of your time and talents and without you our class would not have had a great weekend or any reunion weekend!  Plus for those of us that really wanted to be there, but just couldn’t for whatever the reason the website is awesome!  I was not there but I can just tell from photos other people choose to post and the comments in the guest book that everyone that tried to have a great time did.  It amazes me at how volunteers work so hard and accomplish such great and amazing things don't ask for anything in return!  It is sad that people who don’t volunteer, don’t make suggestions, don’t even have enough balls to use their correct name are so fast to make quick and crude comments.   To “do yuo really care”  I am sad for you that you had a rough life and had to make hard choices, but everyone is giving their crosses to bare and each have a choice at how gracefully they carry that cross.  I really am sad to see who wrote the comments and must suggest you cut and paste next time you want to hide your identity and use spell check.  There is only one classmate that has type “Yuo” over and over again.  I don’t know why you choose to write what you did, but for the people who volunteered to make this weekend happen for you, it was rude and hurtful.  You even stated you had a nice time at the reunion and connected with friends, but you chose to be negative and make a big deal about a slide show.  There is more to life then just the little petty things and I hope you can learn that before it is too late.  If you go through life feeling like no one likes you-no one is going to like you!  I loved HS and I loved the 10 year reunion so maybe I’m the wrong one to write this, but to “do yuo really care” if you have a complaint and follow it by an intelligent solution people might listen, but to write what you wrote is just harsh and explains why you had a poor HS and reunion experience.  I hope you don’t pass that attitude on to your child or any of your loved ones because that is a life wasted. And if you pull your head out of your ass like Lynn suggested you might just see what a blessing our Class of 88 really is!!!  Jeannine and Lynn you two are kick ass.  Never stop being you!!!  And Jennifer Pauzolis you and I could help Jeannine save some money on postage because "do yuo really care" has written they will go to the 25th and that is sad to me! They don't deserve to go!  Jennifer you are still a smart women :0) To the committee, don’t listen to resentful jerks like “do yuo really care” you all did awesome just listen to everyone else! Thanks for all you did and are still doing to keep the website going!!!

In regards to the comment made by, “do yuo really care” dated Sunday, July 20, 2008.  It is a shame that you did not have a good time, but on the other hand you were given the opportunity to attend the event.  Some of us were not that fortunate to attend because of business related traveling.  Although I was on the other side of the country, I would have loved to attend the event. 

Notice the key word of opportunity.  Granted life is not fair across the board, people have established from different social norms, economical situations, etc… and it is only up to us to decide and chose what and where we are going in life.  I truly feel that we collectively were blessed to have our adolescent years and experience growing up on Long Island as a gift.  Being in the military for over 20+ years and traveling to different countries and many different parts of United States provided a more accurate understanding of life.  If the only thing we are worried about is our social groups, then we really didn’t have it that bad.  I do remember the Patchogue-Medford High School environment as well; many of us have also seen what you referring to as these social groups.  The next question is do we remain full of resentment for the rest of our lives or do we move on?  The only person that you have to to make happy in life, is yourself.

Thanks for volunteering time and energy into these two events for the rest to enjoy.  Additionally, thanks for establishing a web-based tool to allow classmates to keep in touch with one another. I am looking forward to the 25th reunion.

Tennis Pro keepin it real,

          Hey Mr. Do Yuu Reely Cant Spell.  I didn't go to Frost Valley or Play on the Football team either, but as a Tennis god I feel your all wrong.  I know I had my share of groupies and ladies who got detention on purpose just to bang my erasures, but gimme a break. This was your moment in the sun, or moon, to break out from that shell and show people what your really have become. A pathetic winer just like always. I can see why your girlfriend was out with your best friend that night and didn't show. Thought I saw her pulling out of the CMI on short stay. 
       The reason you see pictures of the same people in most of those pics (except me, so maybe you have a point) is that those people had their finger over you on the lense. Simple mistake that was just made on purpose. So what I do and I suggest to you is turn to Tennis and it's many faccets and complexities. It brings me to that Zen like place that even when a dweeb like yourself comes on the court. I'm always at advantage Chaskin. So quit holding that torch waiting to get recognized by your peers and just find some new friends that will for some reason hold you and occaional give you a butt slap for great play on that Playstation game I know love, Tennis.

Reunion committee - you guys really know how to put on a party! It was such an awesome weekend and we thank you.  It's been great to reconnect with everyone.  Why wait another 5 years?  How about planning something for, oh, I don't know....next weekend?

In response to 'do you really care' .... well yes, I do.  I had a wonderful time as did almost everyone I have spoken to.  

I have re-connected with friends I hadn't seen since the 10th, and made some wonderful new ones who I now talk to daily.

The reunion is what you make it ~ it was your choice to have a good time or not, bring your girlfriend or not.  It certainly wasn't the reunion committee's job to ensure you had fun or had your picture posted.  I brought my camera and posted my own pictures....you had the same opportunity.

Like I said in my previous post...I think the committee did a wonderful job and put a lot of hard work and effort into it and should be applauded not ridiculed, by someone who won't even give their name.  Pretty cowardly, for someone with so much to say.

We had an awesome time -- the entire weekend was incredible!  It was so great to be with everyone again.  It was like no time had passed at all!!  We're already thinking about the 25th!! 

Looks like the reunion was alot of fun. Was unable to attend, but everyone looked great. Just had my fifth baby in March, my eldest daughter turns 16 in 10 days. I live in Oregon, I graduated nursing school and I am working as a cardiac nurse, which I love. My husband and I have been together since 1997, we bought a new house this year and life is good. Would love to hear from some old friends, especially Steven Cress... it was neat to see you in the pics. Hope everyone remains happy & prosperous.

What a great weekend!   It was so wonderful to see everyone having such a great time together.  Thanks for all the laughs, drinks and catching up.  The Class of 88 is truly an amazing group of people.  I'm still trying to catch up on all of the  sleep I've lost this weekend - yikes!  Everyone stay happy and healthy.

Hope everyone has a great time at the reuinion, Unfortunately I won't be able to attend.  I have been married for 11 years have two daughters ( 3 & 4)  In between highschool and the present, I received my bachelors in Business Management, did lots and lots of traveling, and was a Purchasing Manager.  In 2006 decided to switch careers and now am a Full-Time Domestic Engineer!! Wish you all the best.....

It has been a blast looking at this website and seeing old friends!  Thanks to all of you on the committee for making it all possible.  I am sad we can't make the reunion, but my son's school, St. Rita's School for the Deaf has a big festival that weekend and Dave and I are on the Parents Board so we can't miss it!  I will be thinking about the Class of 88 that weekend and wishing you all nothing but the best :0)

Unbelievable... 20 years and oh how things have changed!! I am so looking forward to seeing everybody at the reunion. The pictures of everyone on the site have been a blast to look at.

Hi everyone. So many things have happened in 20 years. I hope everyone is well. I look forward to seeing all of you. I am just about to move to D.C. for a career change I am very excited to finally get rid of Disney.  Well I look forward to recalling old times and seeing how everyone has changed for the better.

Hi everyone! Can't believe it's 20 years already!  I'm hoping someone out there remembers me, but I married my wonderful husband Christopher in 1997 and have one beautiful daughter. Her name is Gina Joy and she is the light of my life!  I am now a preschool teacher and teach piano lessons privately.  Hopefully I'll make it to the 20th reunion.  See you soon!

I'll be working at the Fed Ex fulfillment center that night but will be at Babaganoosh's at 1am if you guys wanna meet there afterwards.

Can't wait to see old friends.  I missed the 10 year but will not miss the 20 year.  I hope to see and re connect with old friends again.  Maybe even talk to people who I never spoke to before (we had a big class).
